I'm lucky enough to live in one of the best cities in the world: Malmö.
Malmö is an amazing city and pretty much the best city to rase children. As a matter in fact her name is "city of children".
It was an ordinary summer saturday. The sun was shining and it was hot. Its always a good reason to pack some things and take a walk in the city. The sun is a very important factor in Sweden. its seams to me like the swedish people's life is all about the weather.
And when its hot and sunny, everyone is out.
We started at point A... destination? Unknown...
We went down to Kungsparken
Shira was chasing after the ducks
We crossed the park and crossed the bridge, which leading to a Cafe with organic garden of spices and flowers.
A look from the bridge |
The Slottstradgarden is a beautiful place to take a walk. Especially in the summer time.
She was so happy!!!

I love you this much mamma! |
I stopped to take this photo. Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I actually live in this beautiful city.

My city, my home... Beautiful like a painting ![]() |
Last look of Kungsparken |
We were heading to Västra Hamnen.
There was a horse competition that we missed. Like eventing. The men were dressed in special costumes.

Shira was riding on a wooden horse
Väsra hamnen is the modern and newest area of Malmö. There is lots of Cafe's, restaurants, new building both for residence and business, beautiful sights and walking area but mostly its known for the tallest building in Sweden (and Scandinavia) - the Turning Torso.
When we walked in to the area, we were welcomed by a band of musicians...

Taking a break |
We found and empty spot to enjoy the amazing view
Shira found a friend to play with

After few hours of walking, drinking and watching a running marathon, we headed home.
We crossed the other side of the city, directing to Stortorget.
The next week was supposed to start the annual Malmöfestivalen and somebody decided to have a twist to the festival and dressed the trees, the sculptures and the traffic signs (but only in a special areas).

It was a great sunny day.
This post is dedicated to my city - Malmö
