DIY - How to do a Lampshade

For this lovely lampshade all you need is to decide which size you would like it to be: if it's small or medium size, you can use a ballon or a ball in the same size.
If you want to make a big lampshade - you can use a Pilates boll.
As long as you can release the air from the ball.

So what do you need?

1) One ballon or ball - I chose my daughter's beach ball.
2) A roll of paper thread about 200 meter - depends on the size you chose.
3) Wallpaper glue.
4) Clear plastic sheeting - Kitchen type.
4) Bulb holder.

It will take about tow hours and 12 - 24 hours until it's totally dry.

Blow up the ball.
Wrap the ball with the clear plastic sheeting.
Mix the wallpaper glue with water (if it comes in the shape of flakes)
Dip the paper thread in the glue and start wrapping.

Wrapping and wrapping and wrapping some more....

When you had enough and you feel satisfied, put the ball away to dry. Wait for 12 to 24 hours.

When the ball is totally dry - release the air from the ball and peel gently the kitchen plastic sheeting.

And now all you have to do is to attach it to the bulb holder and hang it!
